Job Description

• Oversee daily operations of the hospital pharmacy, ensuring compliance with all regulatory and safety standards.
• Manage and mentor pharmacy staff, including pharmacists, technicians, and support personnel.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures to optimize medication dispensing and inventory management.
• Collaborate with medical staff to ensure safe and effective medication therapy for patients.
• Monitor and evaluate pharmacy performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement.
• Coordinate procurement, storage, and distribution of pharmaceuticals and medical supplies.
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation of all pharmacy activities and transactions.
• Lead quality assurance initiatives to enhance patient safety and medication accuracy.
• Participate in hospital committees and interdisciplinary teams to support clinical initiatives.
• Stay current with advancements in pharmacy practice, hospital regulations, and emerging therapies.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in hospital pharmacy management or a related supervisory role.
• Maximum of 5 years of relevant experience preferred.
• Proven ability to lead and develop a pharmacy team in a hospital environment.
• Strong knowledge of hospital pharmacy operations, medication safety, and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with pharmacy information systems and inventory management software.
• Ability to work full-time, on-site, and adapt to a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.
