
Commercial Sales Manager Job in Dubai – GCC | Digital Media / Agency Role

ROLE:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Commercial / Sales Manager to drive revenue growth, optimize digital media operations, and lead strategic client partnerships within elements of Augustus brands, including Lovin Dubai, Lovin Abu Dhabi and the 12 Smashi TV verticals.. The ideal candidate will have a proven background in digital media agencies, strong commercial acumen, and expertise in managing high-value client portfolios and media investments across platforms.
This role requires a combination of strategic vision, hands-on management of commercial activities, and the ability to deliver innovative solutions that maximize ROI for both clients and the agency.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :
Commercial Strategy & Revenue Growth
- Develop and implement the Publisher’s digital media commercial strategy to achieve revenue targets and profitability.
- Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities in local and Regional markets (GCC).
- Drive upselling and cross-selling strategies across client portfolios to grow account revenues.
- Lead pricing strategy development for media services, ensuring competitive positioning and margin optimization.
Client Relationship Management
- Act as the primary commercial liaison for key clients, building and maintaining long-term partnerships.
- Oversee negotiation of media contracts, partnerships, and service agreements with clients and suppliers.
- Build and manage Long-Term Agreements (LTAs) with key clients, ensuring mutually beneficial, strategic partnerships that provide consistent revenue streams.
- Ensure exceptional service delivery and client satisfaction, translating into account retention and growth.
- Provide clients with Post Campaign reports & data-driven insights and strategic recommendations to improve campaign effectiveness and ROI.
Media Planning & Operations
- Oversee the commercial performance of paid media campaigns across all major digital platforms (Google, Meta, TikTok, Programmatic, etc.).
- Collaborate with internal teams (Media Planners, Buyers, Account Managers, Content Writer, Video Editors & Graphic Designers) to ensure media strategies align with client objectives.
- Analyze market trends, audience behavior, and platform updates to inform go-to-market and media investment strategies.
Team Leadership & Development
- Lead and mentor a team of Commercial Executives, and Account Managers, fostering a high-performance culture.
- Provide training and development on commercial best practices, client negotiation, and media monetization.
- Align team efforts with agency growth objectives and KPIs.
Reporting & Analytics
- Utilize CRM tools to document and track all stages of the client acquisition process, from initial pitching and proposal submission for prospective clients to deal closure.
- Monitor and report on commercial performance, revenue forecasts, and profitability to senior management.
- Develop and present business reviews and ROI reports for key accounts.
- Use data analytics tools and dashboards to inform commercial decisions and drive optimization.
Innovation & Industry Trends
- Stay ahead of digital media trends, platform changes, and emerging technologies to maintain a competitive edge.
- Introduce innovative commercial models, including performance-based pricing and value-added services.
- Represent the agency at industry events, pitches, and conferences, showcasing thought leadership in digital media.

Requirements
1- Personal Traits & Skills
- Strong understanding of digital media buying, performance marketing, and programmatic advertising.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders.
- Strategic thinker with a data-driven and results-oriented approach.
- Ability to manage multiple high-value accounts and projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
2- Academic & Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Media, or a related field (MBA is a plus).
- Professional Experience
- Minimum 3-4 years of experience in a digital media agency commercial role, with a proven track record of revenue growth.
- Experience managing client portfolios with multi-million-dollar media budgets.
- Proven expertise in Regional markets (GCC) is a plus.
