Senior Manager – People & Organization | MAF Retail | Head Office Egypt

ROLE SUMMARY

The Senior Manager – People & Organization is responsible for overseeing the P&O functions/agenda for the Head Office in Egypt. The role holder is also responsible for maintaining consistency of policies across the HO population. Partnering with the leadership team in the process.

ROLE PROFILE

• Maintain close links between local business units and support function management and staff with the appropriate central P&O function to ensure consistency of the application and implementation of corporate P&O programs, policies and procedures
• Ensure the implementation of the performance management process
• Provide mentorship for the purpose of developing a continuous talent pipeline for key roles
• Ensure constant availability of the required competent staff to support the organization in meeting all its responsibilities, plans, and objectives
• Provide inputs while developing MAF Retail’s corporate policies and relevant procedures, and monitor the implementation
• Work together with P&O Center of Excellence in Talent Management, Workforce Planning, Total Rewards & Talent Acquisition
• Maintain close links between local business units and support function management and staff with the appropriate central P&O function to ensure consistency of the application and implementation of corporate programs, policies and procedures
• Create and implement strategic budget planning and forecasting processes for all HO Business units, ensuring alignment with organizational financial objectives.
• Conduct strategic analysis of budget variances and implement corrective actions to ensure cost-effectiveness and maximize resource utilization across all HO Departments.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or HR.
• Professional HR Certification such as CIPR, SHRM, AHARI is preferred
• 10+ years’ experience in a similar position
