Job purpose: The Talent Acquisition Screener is responsible for conducting the initial stages of the recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, and shortlisting candidates for various positions across the organization. The role ensures that only qualified and suitable candidates progress in the hiring process. The Screener collaborates with hiring managers and the HR team to maintain a strong pipeline of potential candidates while upholding the organization’s recruitment standards and timelines.

Key Responsibilities

– 1. Screening & Shortlisting

● Review job applications, resumes, and online profiles to identify qualified candidates.

● Conduct initial phone screenings to evaluate candidates’ qualifications, experience, and communication skills.

● Assess applicants’ fit based on job requirements, cultural alignment, and technical or behavioral competencies.

● Accurately document screening outcomes and maintain candidate records in the recruitment system.

● Forward shortlisted candidates to the Talent Acquisition Specialist or TA Manager for further interviews.

– 2. Sourcing & Candidate Management

● Source candidates through various channels including LinkedIn, referrals, and social media platforms.

● Build and maintain a candidate database for future hiring needs.

● Engage with passive candidates and promote available opportunities.

● Schedule interviews between shortlisted candidates and hiring managers.

● Communicate professionally with candidates throughout the recruitment process to ensure a positive experience.

– 3. Coordination & Reporting

● Coordinate with hiring teams to understand job requirements and screening criteria.

● Prepare and share weekly recruitment status reports, including pipeline progress and candidate flow updates.

● Update and track candidate stages in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) or internal recruitment sheets.

● Support the HR team in organizing assessment days, job fairs, or recruitment campaigns.

– 4. Quality & Compliance

● Ensure all screening activities comply with company policies and data protection standards.

● Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in handling candidate data.

● Contribute to improving screening procedures and interview templates.

● Gather feedback from hiring managers to refine screening methods and enhance efficiency.

Qualifications

● Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or any related field

● Experience: Entry Level – 0 to 2 years of experience

● Skills: Familiarity with LinkedIn Recruiter, Wuzzuf, Indeed, or similar recruitment tools.

● Familiar with Microsoft Office and ATS systems.

● Fluency in English and Arabic.

● High attention to detail, confidentiality, and professionalism.

Working Conditions

– On-Site

– Working Hours: 9 AM to 5 PM
