Job Description

• Collaborate with the sales team to understand client requirements and develop tailored ICT and ELV (light current) solutions.
• Prepare and deliver compelling technical presentations and demonstrations to prospective clients.
• Analyze project specifications, drawings, and tender documents to design optimal system architectures.
• Develop detailed technical proposals, including bill of quantities (BOQ), compliance statements, and solution diagrams.
• Support the sales process by responding to RFPs, RFQs, and technical queries from clients.
• Liaise with vendors and suppliers to source appropriate products and ensure solution compatibility.
• Conduct site surveys and assessments to validate technical requirements and solution feasibility.
• Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in ICT and ELV systems.
• Assist in the preparation of cost estimates and project budgets for proposed solutions.
• Provide technical training and support to internal teams and end-users as required.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Telecommunications, or a related field.
• 2 to 4 years of proven experience in ICT and/or ELV presales engineering roles.
• Strong understanding of ICT and ELV systems, including structured cabling, CCTV, access control, and audio-visual solutions.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Proficiency in preparing technical documentation, proposals, and compliance statements.
• Experience with AutoCAD, Visio, or similar design and diagramming tools.
• Ability to conduct site surveys and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to travel to client sites as required.
