Job Description
- Designing, implementing and improving operational processes, developing strategic plans and setting performance indicators.
- Oversee daily operations of the paper converting factory to ensure efficient production processes and adherence to quality standards.
- Manage and lead factory staff, fostering a culture of teamwork, safety, and continuous improvement.
- Develop and implement production schedules, ensuring timely delivery of products to meet customer demands.
- Monitor and optimize resource utilization, including raw materials, equipment, and labor.
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001:2015, ISO 22000:2018, and ISO 45001:2018 standards and company policies.
- Coordinate with supply chain, sales, and quality assurance teams to align production with business objectives.
- Identify and resolve operational issues, implementing corrective actions to minimize downtime and waste.
- Prepare and manage factory budgets, controlling costs and maximizing operational efficiency.
- Drive initiatives for process improvement, automation, and innovation within the factory.
- Maintain accurate production records and generate regular performance reports for senior management.
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years experience as a factory or operation manager.
- Previous experience working in paper converting industries is preferred.
- Suitable higher educational qualification.
- Has the ability to lead and monitor work teams under his leadership
- has the ability to plan and distribute work tasks
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and factory management software and ERP Programs
- Highly organized and able to multitask and oversee several projects simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Relevant training and/or certifications as a factory or operation Manager
