Job description
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Store Assistant to join our team in Al Kuwait. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our retail store by providing exceptional customer service, maintaining store organization, and supporting various operational tasks. As a Store Assistant, you will be the first point of contact for customers, assisting them with their inquiries and ensuring a positive shopping experience. Responsibilities:
- Assist customers with product inquiries, providing accurate information and recommendations to enhance their shopping experience.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the store, ensuring that merchandise is displayed attractively and efficiently.
- Process transactions accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale (POS) system, handling cash and credit transactions.
- Restock shelves and ensure that products are adequately stocked, reporting any inventory shortages or discrepancies to management.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve store goals, participating in team meetings and contributing ideas for improvement.
- Handle customer complaints and feedback professionally, working to resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Assist in the implementation of promotional displays and marketing initiatives to drive sales and enhance customer engagement.
- Participate in inventory counts and help maintain accurate inventory records.
- Adhere to store policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations, to ensure a safe shopping environment.
- Support management in training new staff, sharing knowledge of store operations and customer service best practices.
